GREENFLEET

We at KEVIN.MURPHY know that any small step can make a big impact on the environment, and we are always looking for ways that we can contribute to benefit this beautiful planet.

For this reason, we are partnering with Greenfleet, to offset in part our carbon footprint. Every six months we plan to offset at least 500 tonnes of CO2 emissions and are proud to report that we have offset over 1500 tonnes of carbon emissions since May 2022 by our collaboration with Greenfleet.

This equates to about 2700 native trees being planted by Greenfleet as part of its many reforestation projects. These trees will grow into forests that are legally protected for 100 years – conserving biodiversity and restoring habitat for wildlife, including many endangered species. We forecast that in calendar year 2023 our support will mean that up to another 10,000 native trees are planted over the course of that year.

Who is Greenfleet?

Greenfleet is Australia’s first carbon offset provider and since 1997 has planted over 10 million trees creating more than 500 forests in Australia and New Zealand.

Greenfleet is a leading Australian not-for-profit environmental organisation protecting our climate by restoring our forests. Greenfleet plants native biodiverse forests to capture carbon emissions and help fight the impacts of climate change

Healthy, strong trees help cool the planet by absorbing carbon emissions and releasing oxygen back into the atmosphere, making our planet a healthier, safer place to live.
